Aside from making silly pictures of myself (which is probably my favorite part). I am really looking forward to learning more tech applications to use at school. The more broad the applications the better. I'd like to learn Admin applications but I still like being in the classroom so that is awesome too.
My Bookmarks are still under development but feel free to see what I have.
I'm planning a book report project. I think the class will do some brainstorming using thinkature. If I get really creative I'll set up a bookmark folder for resources they may use while writing the book report (If anyone has any good links about The Giver Ill take them).
Steve,
I don't have any links for The Giver but it is a great book. It reminds me of Brave New World.-Catherine L. (Sonora Alum)

Survey Monkey Reflections
I like Survey Monkey and it seems like an easy way to gather a large amount of simple information. I would like to make it simpler to get to and find surveys. My current best idea for making it easier then just having everyone copy down a link is to go through one of the bookmarking sites like ikeepbookmarks.com

I agree with your reflection Steve and also believe that administrators are key in providing the modeling and open discussion component that would help teachers become more self reflective. A good administrator can help foster an environment where others feels safe to open up and discuss things about themselves that can help them grow as educators. I think that it is extremely important for us as educators to look within ourselves and be self-reflective of our practices. The difficult part in this would be getting All staff members to openly state things that have not gone so well and reflect on how to improve them without the fear of others looking down on them or judging them negatively. Creating that "safe" environment and positive school culture seems to be one of the most important and difficult tasks of administrators.
